The persuasive power of the Jewish people derives from adherence to the eternal values of the Torah and Jewish tradition. The Jewish people of the United States of America are fortunate to be citizens in a land where the Constitution establishes the best form of government under which Jews have lived in the Diaspora. So, too, the Jewish people have benefitted greatly from religious freedom and free enterprise. The mission of the Jewish American Affairs Committee of Indiana derives from these fundamental principles and establishes the basis for political analysis and policy recommendations.
